He climbed through Cambria's ranks with brute force, rising despite the scorn that followed his every step. However, there was one who could see past his throned exterior: Gildas.

Some claim Mordred saved Gildas, but he would insist it was Gildas who saved him. He abandoned the pursuit of godhood, leaving the Grand Archive's halls behind and remaining in Cambria for the sake of the women who had seen the true him.
